Camp Kids

Hello! Just wondering if you can post the information for Simcha's camp and for Hinda's camp so that we can send them some letters and maybe some goodies. When do they actually finish camp, too???

teich renovations

so, our old upstairs bathroom has been guttted leaving only the bathtub and toilet. they put up new walls and ceiling. about half of the tiles are up-gorgeous. very different than the ugly pink tiles. tommorrow they should finish tiling, friday grout, and even put in the vanity and toilet so we can have it for shabbos, otherwise first thing next week. and then they start on the first floor bathroom, which by the way is cleaned out and we've been using as our main bathroom. pictures will be posted when it's done.

Hinda got of to camp. she called a few times and is happy.
estee went to a farm today with camp...came back with 8 ears of corn, 3 eggplants, and 2 green peppers!

All else is fine.

our sunday

Hi. Today is sunday. we went on a family trip, with Dovid, to prospect park andtook an electric boat ride around the lake. really relaxing, very informative, and something different. they have beautiful grounds and a gorgeous boathouse from 1907 with outdoor seating anda little cafe. we had our lunch, did some arts and crafts, and left.
from there we went to boro park to the sprinkles ice cream store and had everything you can imagine. the plan was to go to the newly built park right across the street but it was pouring rain. We were so lucky; it poured while we were homein the morning, stopped and thesun came out for the boathouse, and started up again whilewe were eating our ice cream.
Now were back home, it's only 3:30 and feels like 7:00. It's thundering and raining - mama would love it. Raizy and Levi fell asleep, hinda and estee are watching the parent trap, and I'm upstairs putting of my transcripts...i really should go and get them done.

Newest Driver

Congratulations, Shmuely! We now have another driver in the family. Shmuely has officially passed his driving test and is a licensed driver, from the state of Florida. Let's all hope and pray that he is(which he is) a much better driver than this guy!

FLORIDA

Hello, Everyone! Just wanting to let everyone know that we have made it safely(and healthy) to Florida. We had a great flight, on SpiritAir, a bit crammed for the legs, but an extra seat for Rozy! We're hoping to just relax and have a good time. Surprisingly, the weather here actually seems quite cooler than back home in NewYork. Hoping that everyone is doing well and Iddo & Etta have a great rest of their trip. We'll be in touch about further information. Good-bye for now, we love you all.

This picture is after a day of swimming in Cedarhurst, she fell asleep in the car, I moved her to the couch and she was OUT. I couldn't resist taking a picture of her in her little bikini.
Here is goofball Levi. he is wearing his new goggles set complete with earplugs and nose plug just around the house-no pool in sight. I can't help but to laugh when I see this!
