I hope no one minds, but I got a bit bored of the way the blog was looking, so I decided to spice it up a bit. Another Attempt

Here's another attempt to get a family picture that has ALL 11 grandchildren. Yes, they were all there, but the person taking the picture cut some of the kids out. I guess we'll have to try this again some other time. HAPPY CHANNUKAH!!!!!

I don't know about everyone, but Shmuely's Shabbos Tallis always ends up flying around the house. As a surprise, I bought him a special Shabbos Tallis bag.

Channukah Adventure

Well, as some of you may know already, we spent our second night of Channukah in Maimonides Pediatric Emergency Room. I know, you'll say, well you're just new parents and don't know that you shouldn't rush there for EVERY little thing. So let me tell you; we didn't!
Thanks to a very nice sister, I, Devorah was able to go to school and left Rozy at the Teich's. When I returned from home to come pick up Rozy, and wait for Shmuely, and rush to yet another Channukah party, I was told that Rozy had vomited. It wasn't too alarming since she has done that before and has TERRIBLE acid-reflux. (I did forget to give her the medicine in the morning.) I was surprised how long Rivka told me that she had slept, since she usually doesn't sleep such long periods during the day and especially not in bed.
We all bundled up and trudged through the snow(JK) to our Channukah party. Yes, Rozy was sleeping once again. When she did wake up she vomited again. As the night went on she would not eat and just became more and more lethargic. As told by Dr. Rosen, we went to the emergency room. And thus, we spent our second night there!
The final report, I guess, would be to tell you all that Rozy is doing fine. The doctor there wanted to be sure that she got back to her normal self and was eating and regaining strength. We will be going to the doctor next week to just be sure that all is well.
Hope everyones Channukah is nice and eventful(only maybe with some happier events!)

Hey everyone,
I don't know yet what our schedule will be like for Chanukah, but if sunday at 530 is feasible, we will be there.

How was everyones shabbos?
Etta and I had a nice trip to CH. We stayed at my mom-in-law and she hosted an oneg shabbos in honor of her fathers yarzheit.
On shabbos afternoon we visited with Devorah and Shumly, who have a wonderful looking coffee maker and a beautiful baby (even if she has some internal plumbing that still needs to be worked out).
On Moztei Shabbos, Etta and I joined the Teich's on a trip to 42nd st, Grand Central for a holiday light show, boutique browsing, and some good ol fashion carolling:)
The rest of the weekend remained rather uneventful, aside form the fact that my football team, the JETS, won a game by 25+points (and the fact thatn I was planning on attedning the game, which would have been difficult once I realized the game was being held in Miami:)

Wow! Can you all believe it?! It's actually snowing!!! It's Rozy's first snow EVER!!! Hopefully she'll like it, but we won't know until I finally get my act together and get her outside. Here are some pictures that Shmuely took this morning(before people were really out and about).

Home for Shabbos

Just wanted to let everyone know that we will be home for Shabbos this week. All that are in CH are more than welcome to come by and visit!!!! Rozy has been changing her schedule lately, meaning that she is up more often, yet she does take longer naps as well. We hope to be seeing everyone some time or another!

Loving Baby Rozy

Raizy just can't get enough of Rozy. For all of you haven't seen them in action, Raizy is VERY protective over Rozy. So if you plan to play with her while Raizy's around, you better think twice!

Thanksgiving

Thank you Dovid & Rivka for a very nice Thanksgiving dinner. Unfortunately we did not have the "speech" that Pappa always says every year!-Shmuely & Devorah

Keeping things interesting

Just keeping everyone in the loop, Friday night started like any other in our home, a little wackiness, lot of excitment you know what you would expect a home filled with 5 very awake little children, so i try and take that energy and turn it into a very lively Sholom Alichem.. and i was sucssefull, and Rosy was singing one of the nicest and we kept complimenting her, then was kiddish and then we're off to washing, for those of you know that remember our kitchen i was standing by the fridge and Rosy with all her energy was running to wash for hamotzi and try to run around me i guess and the corner of the island was having none of that BAMMMMMMblood, stiches, and one amazingly g-d's gift doctor, for more on this story call Hadassah...BH all should be fine, taking out the 8 stiches next Monday.Keeping things interesting.Hope to have only good news to share on the blog in the future.

Pappa called in to the Dennis Prager show, today, thanksgiving, and came on line. Somehow somebody from Shmais heard it, the show is sindicated, and put it on shmais, you can hear your grateful pappa on shmais.
Pappa and I are sooo impressed with Hindys knowledge of the easten and southern states of the united States. Why didn't they all you guys the States in a song ? Kudos to TAG.

Pesach falls in your spring break from school.
We are have thanksgiving-friday night meal at Gold. I will make Pappa a special plate with turkey and cranberry sauce on thanksgiving.
Did we forget to tell you that Pino and Mazel died?
Pappa has a bulging disc in his lower back and might some surgery to repair this. Will keep you posted.
