I for one find it easier to get a picture on the blog than to go into shutter fly, so i saved the one cover photo and here to share it... One question, how the heck did anyone get all these kids to sit for the picture? is tehre ice cream waiting for them? or chocolatechip cooke recipe? :)

I think this blog is a great idea, not that we have 13 brothers and sisters and can't keep track, but it is a nice concept nonetheless. Since this will reach many in the family, might as well give an update on the Manhattan version of the deVries clan. Etta is doing great. She is really coming along in school; she is now officially a senior and should (please G-d) graduate in May. She has a resounding 3.8 GPA in psychology and is working hard to maintain it. She is immersed in a statistics class, and for those that never took one, trust me it is grueling (I never actually completed my class, I just pushed it off till I graduated and nobody was the wiser). I am working hard, trying new and exciting things at my school with different ideas and concepts. It is fun, but laborious. I have begun working in early intervention. I currently see 4 babies with a 5th and/or 6th starting this week. It is really interesting, I mainly work in the projects (cause no other therapist would, the field is 5% male) and the children I treat are in very unfortunate circumstances. In addition, I know have 2 public speaking/accent reduction cases in the evenings. As always, my never-ending itch to travel has started up again. I don't know where we will end up, but hopefully it will be soon and exciting. I would love to hear what everyone else and the kids are up to. What Gemorah is Simcha learning? How are the Hindys doing? Is Cedarhurst busy getting ready for the Chanukah celebration? What's happening with the court reporting school? Has it resumed? Cedarhurst clan is celebrating the JETS and getting ready to dive into chanukah wonderland, kids are doing great, Das is still working hardet than she should, be we're still very proud of her.
Hey Everyone, Apparently, Meir and I are the only ones with access to a computer or the know-how to post a comment. I believe that I worked out the profile issue and we will no longer be seeing my Russian counterpart when I post a comment.
What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving? I know the Teichs are making a big feast. Shumli and Devorah? Hadas and Meir? Mama and Papa? Pino and Mazel?
On a side note, does anyone else use Pino and Mazel as their personal questions online:)
Etta and I were planning on heading out to Connecticut to our friends Carlos and Sara along with a bunch of other friends, but one of the guys got hurt and we've been subpoenaed to having the meal in the city with the Notiks and friends at their apartment (not that we are crying). Interestingly enough, Chava Goodman is in town as well as the youngest Goodman boy (Dani), so while Etta and I will be on 73rd st they will be on 88th cooking and eating at our house!
Mama: spring recess is from April 21st-Aril 25th. How does that work out with Pesach?
Iddo, you asked what I'll be doing for Thanksgiving????????? Well, I'll be thanking Hashem for my wonderful healthy children which I will be "parenting" for most of the day, talk about a turkey :) Anyway, I want to thank G-d for my wonderful wife and great family that I married into, now can we get more posts from the rest of the family???
