Sounds like Long beach is having a revitalization. Happy to hear it. As far as Crown Heights goes. Etta and I had a very nice time by her mothers. We also enjoyed a delicious meal with Hollandze pancake/blintzes, delicious lasagnas, salads, and of course ice coffee by Rivka. My freind Jackie and and his girlfriend joined us as well, against the wishes of Esti, who would just as soon have had a private dinner with just her and jackie:)
We ate lunch by Ettas father the second day who provided a delicious assortments of cheeses from around the world and from various animals.
We davened by Dovids shul where I can report without concern that it is one of the loudest, but most beautiful shuls in CH. Great speeches, yummy food, and good company.
We are, Bizrat Hashem, moving-in this upcoming sunday barring any delays in the remodeling. We will be sure to send pics when they are avl.
